La Croix Valmer
Beautiful by nature…..a preserved paradise
“Discreet coves, long sandy beaches, vineyards that stretch to the sea, classified capes, La Croix Valmer presents an anthology of landscapes of exceptional beauty, with the strong desire to protect this environmental wealth. for future generations.
You quickly fall under the spell of this magnificent resort which slopes gently down to the sea. On the heights, the grandiose view covers the Maures and the Estérel. In the undergrowth, umbrella pines, mimosas, cork oaks and heather are a haven for protected wildlife (kestrel, bluebird, black-headed gull, etc.). Lower down, the coastline alternates between fine sandy beaches lulled by turquoise waters (Le Débarquement, Sylvabelle, Gigaro, Baie de Briande, etc.), rocky ledges sheltering preserved coves (Le Vergeron, Les Brouis, etc.), with the highlight is two jewels: Cap Lardier and Cap Taillat, accessible by the coastal path. The Conservatoire du Littoral ensures the preservation of these marvels, capable of competing with many international tourist destinations.
A quiet life….
Quiet, far from the hustle and bustle, La Croix Valmer advocates a quality of life for its residents as well as for its visitors. First town in the Var committed to sustainable development with Agenda 21, holder of numerous labels (quality of bathing water, blue flag, resort classified as tourism, etc.), this destination cultivates excellence for the development of a site totally protected environment. The service offer is coupled with a very attractive leisure offer: famous diving sites, sailing, kayaking, beach volleyball, land or underwater hikes, idleness… the invitation to relax is permanent. On the horizon, the Port Cros National Park and the Levant Islands, accessible by boat from the Landing pontoon.”
