beefbar, St Tropez

THE RESTAURANT OF THE HOTEL LOU PINET IN SAINT-TROPEZ

Riccardo Giraudi founded Beefbar in Monaco in 2005, and it has since relocated to Hotel Lou Pinet in Saint-Tropez from Hong Kong (Michelin starred since 2017), Mexico City, Tulum, Dubai, Mykonos, Budapest, and Paris.

This antithesis of a steakhouse owes its success to a menu featuring the best meats in the world, cooked without complex between grill and street food, making it one of Saint-best Tropez’s restaurants. While American Black Angus Prime, Australian Wagyu WX, and certified Japanese Kobe beef remain the menu’s stars, other fresh and sunny Mediterranean inspirations come to enrich it: ceviche, carpaccio, risotto, salad, grilled fish…

Between chic simplicity, excellence, and modernity, this trendy Saint Tropez restaurant offers an inventive cuisine in many dishes to share, a signature of the beefbar all over the world, for friendly and fun vacations.

Service every day from 12:30 to 3:00 pm and from 7:30 to 11:00 pm

OUR CONCEPT : Street food sharing style

The reflection of a cosmopolitan culture created by Riccardo Giraudi.
Born in Monte-Carlo, Beefbar breaks the classic & stiff codes of steakhouses since 2005, through its glamorous lines, its modern luxury feel and a complete experience. Every single detail counts, the minute you step in. Here, luxury is more felt and savoured that it is seen.
In the kitchen, our executive chef Thierry Paludetto works closely with Riccardo Giraudi to create incredible, tasty yet simple dishes. Our menu is divided into 3 main axes : street food inspired by the most popular recipes from around the world, great meat cuts sourced in Australia, Japan and the United States, and iconic dishes, from sides to main and desserts.

La Petite Plage

In this restaurant in the village port, Eric Frechon devises the menu, and the sea does the rest. Tasty Mediterranean cuisine by the seafront overlooking the yachts. On summer evenings, a DJ provides the soundtrack, as is the norm in Saint – Tropez!

Always feet in the sand  with warm and natural notes of wood and wicker, the spirit is chic and cozy, ideal for a friendly moment. In the kitchen, the menu, signed by the Michelin-starred chef, offers a fresh and modern summer kitchen with Mediterranean accents. Also a cocktail bar on the shaded terrace. At nightfall, the musical atmosphere will make you experience the warm nights of Saint-Tropez.

“We came across this delightful restaurant whilst strolling around St Tropez. The decor is very appealing so we decided to have lunch. The service is attentive, the presentation of all the different plates is both interesting and theatrical, and the meal was beyond our expectations”

“Superbe! Best Grand Marnière souffle ever! Aside from that great friendly staff, super location, delicious food, lovely ambiance, and a chef who clearly knows his cuisine”

L’Opera

L’Opera is a unique experience in the heart of the Saint-Tropez village. Built as an arena, the restaurant mixes with refinement an exceptional gastronomy. Every dinner will delight in soaking up the glamorous and sumptuous atmosphere, be enthralled by the creative and modern shows and enjoy the seclusion of the private club.

With a perfect view of the port of Saint-Tropez, perfectly framing the warm hues of the buildings of the old town and with the church in the distance, L’Opera’s charming terrace overhangs the quays where yachts from all over the world moor. Inside you will discover enormous, comfortable, leather sofas, oversized vases and lights, and a shaped bar covered with mirrors; the ultra-chic, white and gold décor throughout emphasises the designs and refinement in keeping with the area without any ostentation.

Our menu features thoughtfully selected meals that highlight our Chef’s talent. The range varies from French and typical Provençale cuisine, to worldwide specialities.

The Opera features outstanding dancers and artists who perform one after the other on the central podium tables, as on improvised stages, transporting you to another world for an exceptional evening’s entertainment.

Hanging from the walls : the quirky pieces of art of the contemporary photographer Philippe Shangti add thoughtful character to the restaurant. The universe of this Tropezian artist, gifted with a delirious imagination, seduced the owner of the place with his glamorous sense of aestheticism, coloured with humour and provocation.

Gaio

THE MYTHICAL PAPAGAYO HAS GIVEN WAY TO GAÏO!

PAPAGAYO, 56 YEARS OF TROPEZIAN STORIES

In 1958, Frangy Malortigue and his brother Doudou decided to set up a casino on this store of Saint-Tropez because of lack of authorization, Frangy brings to birth this mythical club and baptizes it: the Papagayo!

In 1962, Claude François took the musical direction of the place and communicated his energy every night by pulling out his shirt. At the end of the season, the famous song «cette année là» will be born.

This magic will not stop to vibrate until today with many personnalities who will succeed like Tom Jones on the microphone, Brigitte Bardot as charleston professor, Eddie Barclay like faithfull night owl, Donna Summer, David and Cathy Guetta at their début, Johnny Halliday, Eddy Mitchell, Sacha Distel, the night priestess Regine, Lionel Richie, Bashung, Claudia Cardinale, Steve Mc Queen, and so many others!
Frangy also called «The Chinese», strolling in kimono with a pipe in the mouth, has gathered and rubbed shoulders with the greatest artists of this world for more than 50 years… This atypical personality will remain etched forever on this port of Saint-Tropez…

Franklin has been in business since childhood and is learning all the hospitality and catering jobs through family businesses.
After more than 15 years of travelling around the world, he gathers his feelings and influences in this festive restaurant, which is the GAÏO!
It is inspired by New Yorkers, Californian or Londonian urban concepts, and adds its Asian origins to it thanks to its trips to China, Vietnam, Japan and Thailand and places a special emphasis on this special cuisine that he discovered in Peru: the Nikkei food.

Franklin Malortigue, a creative entrepreneur, invented this hybrid concept and managed to surround himself with the best people to achieve it. He wanted it to be symmetrical and geometric with the «art-deco» influences of the Thirties in Shangaï, combining golden structures with brass, ethnic colors where yellow, green and red coexist and remind us the inca sun, identical to the golden cities that is today the emblem of this arty restaurant club

.
The famous neo-expressionist artist, Domingo Zapata, made artworks on the walls of GAÏO for his friend Franklin, the international press calls him «The New Andy Wharol». He exhibits worldwide such as Miami, New York and Hollywood. Dining surrounded by these works of art so exclusive and atypical is a privilege!

A RESTAURANT WITH NIKKEI FLAVORS

A culinary journey brings you from Tokyo to Lima.
GAÏO makes you discover the NIKKEI cuisine; the fusion between Japanese cuisine and Peruvian gastronomy: ceviche, tuna tataki, sea scallop tiradito, Kobe beef and mochi are all part of this delicate fusion where sharing is recommended. The Chef combines natural, fresh and delicious flavors using the strengh of aromatic ingredients such as: yuzu, coriander, chilli, lime, soya, wasabi, Japanese sesame seeds…
From refreshing to spicy, tastes and textures take you on a unique culinary experience.
