First the pleasure to the eye: the bright facade dotted with ivy is a handsome sight. Inside, a warm, cheery décor redesigned by Stéphanie, the daughter of founders Yvonne and Claude., who has combined Provençal tradition and modernity and perpetuated the fine tradition of hospitality. The cosy, comfortable lounge, a truly relaxing spot created around the impressive fireplace, adjoins the elegant air-conditoned dining room where the best is yet to come.

Ouvert en 1962, cet établissement de charme est devenu une institution sur la Côte d’Azur. Des stars comme des personnalités politiques sont venus goûter les merveilles de Claude Girard, propriétaire et Chef.

Julien Allegre Maître Cuisinier de France et élève de Claude Girard, vous prépare des mets fins et exquis dignes de la haute gastronomie française. Laissez-vous porter par des saveurs à la fois traditionnelles et nouvelles qui émoustilleront vos papilles.

Les Santons at home

The Santons restaurant in Grimaud offers a catering service for those who wish to benefit from the Santon cuisine while remaining at home.
Besides this meal service at home, the restaurant offers its savoir-faire for receptions and private events.
For any order, delivery at home is free on cities of Grimaud, Cogolin and Garde-Freinet.
The delivery costs are 60 € for Sainte-Maxime, Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle, Gassin, La Croix-Valmer and Cavalaire.

L’Oliveraie

 

L’Oliveraie is like a treasure hidden away and reserved for a chosen few. Strolling through the Château’s garden, the air fragrant with Pierre de Ronsard roses, guests are delighted to discover our summer restaurant in the shade of an ancient olive grove.

Chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois invites you to enjoy his summer creations filled with flavours of the sunny Mediterranean. Working with this season’s local produce, L’Oliveraie’s menu now features authentic pizzas from our wood-fired oven, herb-infused grilled fish and meats, teppanyaki plates and zesty salads.

Here at the foot of the Baou des Blancs with tranquil views of hills and gardens, each occasion is a sensual interlude, epitomising the languid afternoon lunches typical of the South of France.

For those seeking an exclusive private dining experience we propose “L’Œnothèque Table”. An intimate wine cellar in a castle turret, encircled with rare vintages; a fascinating setting for connoisseurs. Situated adjacent to Le Saint-Martin, up to seven guests can enjoy a gourmet evening, with discrete service.

Hostellerie de L’Abbaye de La Celle

The restaurant

The restaurant – Michelin starred since 2006 – offers genuine, seasonal cuisine. A far cry from static menus, here you will discover a choice that follows the seasons and the market stall. The chef is passionate about his vegetables and uses local producers to source the best Provencal products. You can also discover our menus themed around the best seasonal produce.

The restaurant comprises three delightful rooms: Alsacie de Montpellier, Diane de Calluire and Louise de Castellane. Each has its own atmosphere. Moustiers tiles on the walls and wood paneling, sconces in Jean-Claude Novaro blown glass and a dinner service from the Ateliers du Soleil. The private Lovers room enjoys an intimate ambiance.

 

A chef, a cuisine

Nicolas Pierantoni was born in Brignoles and grew up in the village of La Celle. When he was a teenager, his dream was to work at L’Hostellerie de l’Abbaye de la Celle. Right after he finished his study, he joined the team that opened the establishment in 1999. Three years later, Alain Ducasse sent him to the Louis XV, his restaurant in Monaco. Nicolas had the opportunity to learn from the Executive Chef Franck Cerutti. He came back to L’Hostellerie de l’Abbaye de la Celle in 2006 as the sous-chef of Benoit Witz. In 2016, Alain Ducasse appointed him as the chef of this inn.

 

Potager

Our vegetable garden follows the seasons. Planted out after the “Ice Saints” have passed (mid May), we use natural fertilizer to ensure quality, rich products. Here you will find 25 varieties of tomato, 15 varieties of basil, four varieties of zucchini and four varieties of squash and eggplant. And there are also peppers, strawberries, persimmon, fennel, beet and Swiss chard.

Julien Le Goff graduated from Hotel Management School of Saumur, one of the oldest hotel schools in France. An “Old School” talented chef, passionate of French gastronomy.
His French and international experience, enables him to join Joël Guillet’s kitchen in 2008 as second chef.

Over the years, Julien Le Goff, does all that is possible to surprise with his creativity and his desire to always go further. He is promoted Head Chef in 2012

Since then, his passion and his knowledge, offers us the most exquisit dishes with provencal accents & Mediterranean colors in our two Michelin starred restaurants.

Located 7.9 km from central Vidauban, this traditional restaurant and hotel is 15.7 km from Abbaye du Thoronet and 24.4 km from the Plaine des Maures nature reserve.

 

The refined gourmet restaurant features a glass-enclosed dining room, plus a veranda and terrace seating. Tasting menus are available, and breakfast is served for an additional fee. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a sauna and massage treatments (surcharge).

Striving for simplicity and authenticity, we specialize in the finest fish and seafood, and make no compromise in sourcing the freshest ingredients. Our menu is uncomplicated and we also have a few dishes to satisfy vegetarians and non fish lovers.

This well-established restaurant has been welcoming guests, both local and distinguished since it opened in 1989. The restaurant lies at the heart of Port Grimaud, the « Venice of the Riviera ». The setting is as romantic as it gets, on the canal, just inside the main entrance to the Port, and tucked away from the square.

 

 

We can arrange boat transfers from across the Bay from St Tropez or Ste Maxime.
